The aims of the Friends of the Sighthill Stone Circle are:
1. To bring about the restoration and completion of the astronomical stone circle in Sighthill Park, Glasgow, (a) by bringing about the erection of the last four unused stones, the installation of a plaque identifying the origins of the circle, to whom it is dedicated and how it works; (b) by restoring the original slope of the ground, to bring the tops of the stones to their intended heights; (c) by the restoration of the staircase leading to the circle, and by the creation of a suitable path for wheelchair access.
2. To make the circle a local and visitor attraction as originally intended, linking the past and future of the area.
3. To hold educational and social events at the circle and at other locations, to bring the circle to local and wider notice.
4. To establish connections between the circle and other astronomy and space-related features in the city of Glasgow, in the greater Glasgow area, in the Central Belt and in Scotland as a whole.
